Our main activities will follow a Team Building theme to get everyone reacquainted and working together after the holidays.
Stay focused during the activities, there's plenty of time for catching up during the breaks!

We are desperately in need of a Group Secretary
This voluntary role is not as daunting as you might think.
The Group Secretary is responsible for taking minutes at the Group Committee Meetings held usually on the second Tuesday of alternate months, commencing January. No problem if you cannot attend every meeting as someone else will step in to take and issue the minutes.
There might be an occasional letter to be sent out, generated at the meetings or at the request of the Chairman or Group Scout Leader.
Regarding our Annual General Meeting, usually held September, invites & agenda will need to go out (now mainly via email).
Any costs incurred would be reimbursed.
Please speak to a Leader if you feel this is something you can do.
Our next meeting is our Annual General Meeting to be held at our Scout Hall on Tuesday, 12th September, commencing 7 p.m. Invites, etc. already done.
You are cordially invited to our Annual General Meeting to be held at our Headquarters on Tuesday, 12th September, commencing 7 p.m. The Agenda is as follows:-
1.Chairman calls meeting to order
3.Introduction of Guests
4.Minutes of last A.G.M.
5.Matters arising from Minutes
9.Group Scout Leader’s Report
10.Election of Officers (we still need a Group Secretary)
11.Any Other Business
12.Date of next A.G.M.
Sectional Reports will be displayed in the main hall.
Should you have any item(s) which you would like to raise under “Any Other Business” would you please advise a Leader at least seven days prior to the meeting. We already have a proposal to review subscriptions as the current charge of £2.50 per week was set in 2010.
The A.G.M. itself is very brief so please do make time to attend. Following the A.G.M., refreshments will be available and Leaders will be happy to discuss any issues/ideas you may have.
Yours, in Scouting,
